Nitro Rally Cross

Contracted by Superbase Creative to give Nitro Circus' Nitro RallyCross (NRX) a brand refresh. With the introduction of electric vehicles into the action packed, high flying race teams Nitro Circus wanted to give the event a fresh look and reflected the electric element. What better way than to lean into the one 80’s movie that screams future and electricity (and i'm not just referring to a young Jeff Bridges performance) than the movie Tron. Leaning into the aesthetic we give the 80’s look a futuristic refresh filling in the lines to make it pop and backlighting the logo with a pop of color to make it feel as if the logo is lighting up, much like the current emblems of the current electric cars in the market.
